In today’s blog, we’ll be discussing how to plan an amazing party and some virtual hen party games so you can throw the best virtual celebration!
If you had big plans for your hen party or hen weekend, remember that you can reschedule it for the future. Instead, let your besties know that the celebration will be continuing at a safer time, meanwhile, you can log on and enjoy a fun event which can keep you feeling positive during these times. It’s a chance to dress up, chat, enjoy some laughs and drink plenty of prosecco! Find dates that your guests will be free, we would recommend hosting the party at the weekend as many people are working from home. Even if you’re celebrating online, you still want to treat your guests. Why not create a “party box” which contains everything they’ll need for a virtual celebration. Choose a small bottle of wine, prosecco or gin, some funny hen party glasses and a hat, an invite to the party and anything they may need for the games. Select a few small spa treatments or testers, such as face and hairs masks so your guests can pamper themselves before the party. Grab some cute box’s and wrap the presents up in tissue paper along with the invite. If you love being creative, making party boxes is a fun activity which you can enjoy inside. Once the party is over, everyone has some keepsakes which they can hold onto and remember the virtual hen party by, or save them for the real one!
Prepare a menu
What celebration would be complete without some delicious food? Ask everyone to prepare their favourite snacks to enjoy throughout the night. We love a wine and cheese board as you can easily enjoy bites throughout the night. If you want to go all out, ask everyone to get a food delivery of their favourite takeaway meal to arrive at the same time, so you can sit down and have a virtual dinner together. It’s a free programme which allows you to have virtual movie nights and watch the same content at the same time.

Just because you aren’t going out, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t dress up. Getting glam will make you feel amazing, even if you’re just sitting in your living room. So treat yourself to a new outfit, get your make up on and try something different with your hair. Get the girls to do a virtual fashion show so everyone can see the outfits they’ve put together, and don’t forget to take lots of pictures! This is perfect classy hen party game if your guest list loves a tipple. On the night, ask everyone to do a virtual tutorial on how to create these classy cocktails, complete with demonstration and taste test. Guess the age of the bride
This is a real throwback and the perfect game to play for a group of mates you’ve known throughout your life. Raid old photo albums and forgotten phones and find a range of photos of you from the past. Put each one on the screen and quiz your guests on how old you were in each photo. Find a good range from baby through to embarrassing teenage snaps and some from recent months. Bonus points if the guests can guess which event you were at during the photo, such as a wedding or your prom. Find some cute trinkets as prizes for the winner and post them after the virtual party.
Guess the dress
An enjoyable game especially if you’re guests are into celebrity culture. Browse the internet, newspapers and magazines and find some iconic wedding dresses worn by popular figures over the years. Make some of them obvious and some of them more niche for that extra challenge. Share your screen and show each photo and have your guests guess who wore each one. Dares
What hen parties activity blog would be complete without a game of dares? To make things interesting, ask everyone to come up with 5 dares and use an online decision wheel to choose the player who has to complete the challenges. These could be anything to finishing your drink without touching the glass, to admitting an embarrassing story. Either way, this game is sure to promote lots of laughs and memories.
Guests choice
If you’re up for a surprise and need a break from hen party planning, why not ask each guest to host a game. This takes some of the planning stress away and allows you to join in with any guessing games. If you are a hen attending the party, you can use any of our games as suggestions. One of the easiest games to execute virtually is a pub quiz. Simply prepare some questions, you could even tailor them to the bride, and ask each person to record their answer on a piece of paper. Whoever has the most quiz questions right, will win!
