Barbury Castle

Originally built in the Iron Age, the remains of the fort known as Barbury Castle are still standing strong. Situated in Wiltshire, it’s one of many forts that have been discovered in the surrounding area. Along the ancient Ridgeway route, keep an eye out to find other forts that look similar. There’s a lot you might be able to spot in this area of absolutely outstanding beauty!
