Our religious conference and retreat venue in Swindon can hold up to 240 guests and we have 14 modern and flexible meeting rooms that can be adapted to suit your needs. All our rooms have the capacity to be totally versatile with a number of room layouts to choose from including banquet, cabaret and theatre style. We can also host up to 480 guests across our two largest ground floor suites.
We are also surrounded by 20 acres of stunning grounds, with multiple outdoor courtyard spaces that are perfect for relaxing with family and friends!

We are taking wake enquiries in accordance with the latest Government guidelines. From 21st June, there is no longer a maximum limit of 30 attendees at funerals. The number of people who can attend a funeral will be determined by how many people our venue can safely accommodate with social distancing measures in place.

Improve International is based at Alexandra House and uses it for day-time training events, conferences and accommodation. Feedback from delegates has been good and Alexandra House deliver a flexible, friendly service. Communication with the hotel is excellent and they have enabled us to provide a Covid secure environment so that we have been able to deliver our courses with confidence in the last year.
We’d like to thank Alexandra House for a wonderful evening at our Christmas Party which was enjoyed by all. The food came out piping hot and very nice. The atmosphere and disco were great and everyone danced the night away.
A very nice hotel the rooms are spacious and well presented. Breakfast is generous and the dinner was good on the whole.

An enjoyable relaxing well fed stay was had. The staff were very friendly, Superior room was massive bed really comfortable. 4 course eve meal was delicious desserts were amazing. Lovely relaxing time, had the pool and gym almost to ourselves. Evening meal and breakfast excellent and the staff all very helpful, gluten free dietary needs very well catered for and a fantastic price.
Spent a Saturday night here. Very pleasant, facilities good, rooms comfortable with all amenities too hand. Staff extremely polite and professional, our waiter (Daniel) went out of his way to make sure our evening meal was good. Very impressed with this! Food excellent.
