What events can our hall hire in Swindon be used for?

At Alexandra House, we’ve hosted a wide variety of events, including weddings, meetings, conferences, parties, birthday parties and corporate team building. This diversity in our event hosting range means that we can adapt our venue to suit you and your guests.

How many people can the hall hold?

We have 15 event spaces that can hold up to 240 people depending on what layout you choose. To get the most people in, you would need to use our theatre layout, which is most commonly used for conferences. Other layouts include banquet, boardroom, cabaret, classroom and dinner dance, which will vary on how many people they can fit. For larger gatherings, we would recommend the Alexandra or Wroughton Suites, as they hold the highest number of guests, and for smaller events, we would recommend our Dawson, Cole or Constable rooms as they hold between 20 to 46 people.
